1、 Introduction to raw materials
Nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) is one of the intermediates in NAD+biosynthesis, which is a biologically active nucleotide formed by the reaction of a phosphate group with a nucleoside containing ribose and nicotinamide (NAM). Nicotinamide is directly converted to NMN by nicotinamide phosphoribosyltransferase (NAMPT), with a molecular weight of 334.221 g/mol. NMN has two isomers called alpha and beta, with the latter being the active form. NMN is a precursor of NAD+, and its function is mainly manifested through NAD+. NMN exerts pharmacological effects by increasing intracellular NAD+levels, which have beneficial effects on cells, including mitochondrial function, DNA repair, gene expression, anti-inflammatory effects, and cell survival. Currently, supplementing NMN is considered a feasible and efficient strategy to increase NAD+levels.
2、 Application pain points
1: NMN has poor stability and is sensitive to heat and pH, making it easy to lose its physiological effects.
2: NMN has a high polarity and is difficult to penetrate through the skin and enter the target site, allowing the target cells to exert their effects.
3: The function is single, and the aging mechanism of human skin is complex. NMN needs to be combined with other active substances to synergistically enhance its efficacy.
3: Product advantages
1. High stability: Carrier wrapping technology effectively improves the stability of anti-aging ingredients
2. Dual targeting: The carrier encapsulates active ingredients efficiently into deep skin tissues, as well as anti-aging target cells and mitochondria, achieving dual targeting of tissues and cells
3. High compatibility: easy to mix various matrices such as cream/essence/lotion/water agent/facial mask, mild and non irritating, especially suitable for transparent system
4. High bioavailability: slow-release and controlled release, increasing the retention of NMN in the skin and improving bioavailability
